Pineapple Cherry SunFruit (Cape Gooseberry)

Features

An orange-yellow berry. Has a pleasantly fresh sweet/sour flavour and is full of vitamin C. Once the lantern becomes dull in colour you will find inside a yellow-orange berry. Fruit is produced very early, yielding many tasty berries, even in poor summers. Allow berries to fall to the ground when ripe. The lanterns protect the fruit for some time. Pre-sow in a greenhouse. Once emerged, prick out, harden off and transplant, preferably in a sheltered, warm spot.
