A Garden Nasturtium that seems to have been made for hanging baskets. A wide variety of colours. Single-flowered with light green leaves with stripes or blotches. Particularly good as hanging plant but also fine as ground cover (suppresses weeds). The strong peppery flavoured leaves and particularly the flowers are sometimes used in salads. Sow in the final spot for use as ground cover. Very little or no fertilization. The fresh harvested seeds are sometimes preserved as capers.
