The world's largest pumpkin. A great choice for competitions, because in North Western Europe the fruits can grow up to 150-250 kg. The current world record of 766 kg is unbelievable but true. Sow in a greenhouse in small boxes or directly in large pots. Transplant after mid May once there are 4 true leaves. Pumpkins are very sensitive to night frost. The plant requires plenty of fertilizer, water and warmth. Therefore grows very well on compost heaps and dunghills. Cut off the tendrils if they grow too long.
