Flowers in the second year after sowing. Can be sown in the garden. Also in a seedbed, then pricked out, thinned out and transplanted. The pretty flowers attract butterflies. Good for flower beds and background borders, as well as dried and cut flower. The deep blue globes keep their colour well, provided they do not dry out in direct sunlight.
