Westlandse Common cutting can be grown in a greenhouse or in the garden. The plant and its leaves and stems are coarser than those of Amsterdamse dark green. The plant is also taller. It does, however, have pleasant aromatic leaves. When harvesting the leaves do not cut away the heart of the plant. Leaf celery has a strong taste and is particularly suitable in winter dishes. Cooking adversely affects the aroma and breaks down the vitamins, therefore add at the last moment.
